Three spaces across 22nd St. Matthew Marks was one of the first galleries in Chelsea and consistently shows heavy hitters -- Jasper Johns, Ellsworth Kelly, Nan Goldin. The spaces are beautiful and always worth a walk-through.
After: Cookshop (American, $16-28). 10th Ave and 20th. Farm-to-table with a terrace. Great gallery-crawl pit stop.
