Right by Lincoln Center. The collection spans quilts, weather vanes, outsider art, and self-taught artists. The shows punch way above their weight. One of the most underrated free museums in Manhattan.
After: Levain Bakery (bakery, $5-8). 74th and Amsterdam, 10 min walk. The chocolate chip walnut cookie is the size of a softball and worth every calorie.
