Make a visit of it
A tiny community museum stuffed with NYC artifacts -- vintage subway tokens, Statue of Liberty figurines, seltzer bottles, bits of demolished buildings. It's a love letter to the city in miniature. The outdoor display cases on Metropolitan Ave are always visible.
After: Diner (American, $14-24). Broadway at Berry St, 5 min walk. In an actual old dining car. The handwritten menu changes daily. No reservations, worth the wait.
