Make a visit of it
The only cultural center in the US for all five Nordic countries. Exhibitions rotate between contemporary art and design. The film screenings are excellent and often free. The shop has beautiful Scandinavian design objects.
After: Franchia Vegan Cafe (café, $$). 12 park ave at 34th, 3 blocks south. korean vegan tea house with a zen interior and a massive tea menu. the dumplings are surprisingly great. feels like a temple in midtown.
